Hello, introduce yourself please.Hello. My name is Aleksandra Karabanova, and I was born on March 7, 2012, in Tambov, Russia.
What languages do you speak?My native language is Russian, and I speak some English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at the age of 7.
Are there other tennis players in your family?No.
In which club do you train?I train at the Ryazan Ozerov Tennis Academy.
Who are your coaches?My tennis coach is Viktor Nikitin; my general physical conditioning coach is Denis Petrachkov.
What is your weekly training routine?I train 4-5 times a week for general physical conditioning, 2 hours a day for tennis, and twice a week for yoga and swimming.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My strength is my serve; I want to improve the power and accuracy of my shots.
What is your age category and your national ranking?My age category is under 14; my national ranking is 2.
What have been your greatest successes so far?I have won the Tennis Europe Under 14 Category 2 and Under 16 Category 3 tournaments, as well as the Russian Championship and other major tournaments in Russia.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I’ve played in tournaments in Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
Do you have any sponsors?Only Yonex provides me with rackets, strings, and backpacks.
What is your goal for 2026?Start playing ITF tournaments.
What is your tennis dream?Become the first racket and win Grand Slam tournaments.
