Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Zyanya Saavedra Carrera, I was born on June 18, 2009 and I am from Puebla, Mexico.
What languages do you speak?I speak Spanish.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at age 5.
Are there other tennis players in your family?My dad and brother also play tennis.
In which club do you train?At Centro Tenístico Güido Lorandi.
Who are your coaches?Guido Lorandi and 3 others.
What is your weekly training routine?I wake up at 5:20 to go to Physical Education from 6 to 7, have breakfast from 7 to 8, train from 8 to 11, rest from 11 to 11:30, go to school from 11:30 to 1:30, rest from 1:30 to 4, go to the gym from 4 to 5:20, and train again from 5:50 to 7.
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?My greatest strength is my fighting spirit and the aggressiveness of my game, and I need to improve my patience.
What is your junior category and your national ranking?I no longer play national tournaments — I play ITF and the professional circuit in Mexico (AMPT).
What has been your greatest achievement?I won UTR tournaments in the United States and raised my ITF ranking.
In which countries have you already played tournament?USA.
Do you have any sponsors?No.
What is your goal for 2026?To raise my UTR ranking.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to reach the Top 100 in the Women’s World Ranking and make history for Mexico.
