Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Yuhansa Peiris. I am 15 years old, born on December 6, 2010.
I’m a Sri Lankan, living in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Sinhala and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I began playing tennis at the age of eight.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
I am the only tennis player in my family.
In which club do you train?

Who are your coaches?
My team consists of my tennis coaches, fitness coach, and my father.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train on court six days a week for two hours per day. I do three structured fitness sessions each week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength as a player is my aggressive playing style. I am continuously working on improving my footwork and net game.
What is your age category and your national ranking?
I am currently ranked #1 in Sri Lanka in the U16 category and #2 in U18.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My key achievements so far include representing Sri Lanka in the Junior Billie Jean King Cup team and winning an ITF J30 tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
Sri Lanka, China, Malaysia, India, and Japan.

I do not have any sponsors at the moment.
What is your goal for 2026?
To improve my ITF ranking through consistent performance and international exposure.
What is your tennis dream?
My long-term ambition is to become a professional tennis player and ultimately win a Grand Slam.

My tennis idols are Roger Federer and Carlos Alcaraz.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my friends, listening to music, and traveling.
