Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is You-Hsi Li, I was born in April 2011 in the city of Taichung, Taiwan. Now I am 14 years old.

What languages do you speak?

I speak four languages: Mandarin, English, French and Taiwanese.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started play tennis when I was 8.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

I am the first member of my family who play tennis.

In which club do you train?

I train at many tennis clubs.

Who are your coaches?

–

What is your weekly training routine?

I train for one hour a day at school and, during the summer and winter holidays, I train at several tennis clubs.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

I think my biggest weapon in the game was my stability and I can play precise. I also think the most important thing is to have a well mindset.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

Recently, I played in U14 and U16 and my ranking is around 50th place in U16.

What has been your greatest achievement?

I think my greatest achievement was finishing fourth in an ATF tournament.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

I only play in Taiwan but I am planning to play in other countries.

Do you have any sponsors?

I don’t have any sponsors yet and I am looking for it.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal in 2026 is to play my first ITF tournament and hope I can do well.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to win a Grand Slam title and represent Taiwan.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis player is Jannik Sinner.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I like to write calligraphy when I am outside of tennis. I also play basketball football and I watch matches.

To which people would you like to dedicate this interview?

I would like to dedicate this to the major tennis brands out there. I hope my performance and profile catch their attention, as I am committed to becoming a professional player and would be proud to partner with a brand that shares my ambition and vision.
