Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Yan Doroshenko, I am 10 years old, originally from Ukraine, currently living and training in Portugal.

What languages do you speak?

Ukrainian, Russian, English and Portuguese.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of 8.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

No other tennis players in the family.

In which club do you train?

Training at Beloura Tennis Academy in Portugal.

Who are your coaches?

Working with the coaching team at Beloura Tennis Academy.

What is your weekly training routine?

Training four times per week: individual sessions, group practice and physical conditioning.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

Strong forehand and aggressive style. Currently improving serve and consistency.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

Competing in junior tournaments in Portugal.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

One of the recent results: 4th place at Smash Tour Montijo.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

So far competing in Portugal.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal is to compete in Spain and other European tournaments.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to become a professional tennis player.

Skateboarding and staying active.
