Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Yaman Kaya, I am 7 years old and I was born on September 18, 2018.
I am Turkish and I live in Aydın, Turkey.

What languages ​​do you speak?
Turkish and English

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 6 and a half. Since then, the tennis court has become my second home.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
No

In which club do you train tennis?
I currently train at MD Tennis Club.

Who is your tennis coach?
My coaches are Mert Deniz, Hüseyin Kuzgun, and Sıddık Demir.

What is your weekly training routine?
I follow a disciplined training schedule of 10 hours per week.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My most important quality as an athlete is that I learn quickly and have a talent for tennis. I need top-tier coaches to improve my tennis game.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
Due to my age, I don’t have an official national ranking yet.
However, in 2026, I will move into the Orange Ball category and plan to compete in tournaments across different cities and countries.
Although I’m not eligible for Orange Ball tournaments.

What has been your greatest achievement?
Even though I’ve only been playing tennis for 7 months, I’ve managed to win every tournament I entered and have never lost a match.
Most recently, I became the champion of the U8 category in a tournament organized by the Turkish Tennis Federation.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I’ve only participated in tennis tournaments in Türkiye. My goal for 2026 is to win the championship in every tournament I participate in.

Do you have any sponsors?
I have a sponsor — Termo Yapi Engineering.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win the championship in every tournament I participate in.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become the 2024 Wimbledon champion.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are Dimitrov and Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Besides tennis, I enjoy cycling and playing soccer.

I would like to dedicate this to my father and mother.
