Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Yahya Eddekaki, I am 13 years old, I was born on May 27, 2012.
I am Moroccan, and I live in Mohammedia, Morocco.

What languages do you speak?

Arabic, English and French.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

At 4 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my brother.

In which club do you train?

In the Royal Tennis Club Mohammedia.

Who are your coaches?

I had a lot of coaches but currently my coach is Amine Boustani.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train every day and sometimes I don’t train on weekends when I have a tournament.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strength is my technique, but I need to improve my mindset.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

My junior category is U14 and my national ranking is #263.

What has been your greatest achievement?

I won my second final match after being down 5-0, 4-0.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

Just in Morocco but I hope to play international tournaments soon.

Do you have any sponsors?

No, but I would like.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal is to win many tournaments and achieve a better ranking.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to be the world number 1.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite player is Carlos Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

To play soccer with my friends and video games.

To which people would you like to dedicate this interview?

To my mom and my dad.
