Yacout is number 1 in Morocco and at only 11 years old she reached the final of an international CAT/ITF under 14 tournament!

Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Yacout El Rhaffouli. I’m from Marrakech, Morocco, and I’m 11 years old, born in 2014.

What languages do you speak?

At what age did you start playing tennis?

Are there other tennis players in your family?

In which club do you train?

I train at RTCMA (Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech), where I am coached by three different coaches who guide me in my development. Training at this club gives me the support and structure.

Who are your coaches?

What is your weekly training routine?

I train about five hours a day and have participated in several tournaments, including local competitions in Morocco.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

I need to improve and progress consistently.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

In my age category (11 years), I’m currently ranked number one in the country.

What has been your greatest achievement?

Last November, I competed in the African U14 tournament in Casablanca despite being younger than most participants. I reached the final after some very tough matches against older players. Although I lost in the final to a South African player, it was a great learning experience.
I also represented Morocco in the U12 African Championship with my teammates, and we won the title together.

Do you have any sponsors?

I currently don’t have any sponsors, but I dream of having a well-known international sponsor in the future.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to keep improving my game, gain more experience in competitions, and achieve strong results in national and international tournaments.

What is your tennis dream?

My biggest tennis dream is to become a professional player and compete in the Grand Slams.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis players are those who inspire me with their mentality, hard work, and playing style like Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing, and doing activities that help me recharge.
