Hello, introduce yourself please.

Hi, My name is Vivien Szabo, I’m 13 years old. I was born on the 10th of April in 2012.
I’m Hungarian and I live in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Hungarian and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

My parents started playing tennis as a hobby, that’s when me and my sister started playing it.

Which club do you train with?

The tennis club where I train is MTK Park Tenisz Klub in Budapest.

Who are your coaches?

My tennis coach is Krocskó József and my fitness coach is Simai Péter.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train almost every day, I mostly train 2-3 hours of tennis and 1 hour of fitness.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My greatest quality is my footwork and forehand and I need to improve my backhand and slice.

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

I play in the U14 girls category.
My Tennis Europe ranking is 130th, and my national ranking is 2nd place.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

My greatest achievements have been winning 2 Tennis Europe competitions in doubles and winning the Hungarian national competition in doubles.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I played at international competitions in Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Austria, Albania, Greece, Czechia.

Do you have any sponsors?

I currently have one racket sponsor Yonex.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to win the Hungarian national competition in doubles.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to become a professional tennis player and play in Grand Slams.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favourite tennis players are Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis I like skiing, dancing and hanging out with my friends.

Who would you like to dedicate this interview to?

I’d like to dedicate this interview mostly to my parents.
