Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Vittorio Golda. I am 15 years old and I was born on January 25, 2011. I am Italian and I live in Genova. I am a junior tennis player competing at international level.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Italian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I was the first one in my family to start playing tennis.
In which club do you train?
I train at Park Tennis Training in Genova.
Who are your coaches?
In Australia, my coach is Nick Brownrigg, and in Italy my coach is Gianluca Naso.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day from 2 pm to 6 pm, with around 2 hours on court and 2 hours off court.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is my mental strength. My motto is “never give up”. Technically, my forehand is also one of my strengths.
What is your age category and your ranking?
Before leaving Australia in January, I was ranked No.3 among boys born in 2011. In Italy, where the ranking system is different, I would be approximately Top 10.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My greatest achievements include earning my first ITF point in 2025 at the age of 14, and competing in prestigious events such as the Junior Orange Bowl and the Eddie Herr International Tennis Championships.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Australia, Italy, the USA, New Zealand, Ireland, and Germany.
Do you have any sponsors?
Yes, I am supported by Wilson.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal is to win my first J30 tournament or the Italian National Championships.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player and stay consistently in the Top 100.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Roger Federer because of his incredible career and style of play.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy watching MotoGP and following Juventus.

I would like to dedicate this interview to my mum and dad, because they always support me and are always there when I need them the most.
