Hello, introduce yourself please.
My names is Varvara Kopylova, I am 11 years old, I was born on January 14, 2014.
I am Russian, living in St. Petersburg, Russia.

What languages ​​do you speak?
Russian is my native language, but I am also learning English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 5.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
In my family, only my dad plays tennis a little.

In which club do you train tennis?
I train at the Center for Physical Culture and Sports in St. Petersburg.

Who is your tennis coach?
My coach is Sergey Merkuryev.

What is your weekly training routine?
I practice 6 times a week for 3-4 hours plus general physical training twice a week.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My best qualities in tennis are my speed, my forehand and drop shot. I fight for every ball.
And I would like to stabilize my serve.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I play in the Under-13 category, and my ranking in Russia is 82.

What has been your greatest achievement?
My biggest achievement is winning the championship of St. Petersburg and winning 3 out of 4 finals in the Russian tennis tour over the last two months.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I have not traveled outside of Russia yet, but I plan to in 2026.

I currently have no sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to make it to the Russian tennis team.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become a professional tennis player and write my name in tennis history.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are Carlos Alcaraz, Mirra Andreeva, Aryna Sabalenka, and Daniil Medvedev.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I engage in creative activities: drawing, dancing, and making crafts by hand.
