Hello, introduce yourself please.Hello! My name is Tijn Aarts, I was born on September 5, 2010.
My nationality is Dutch, and I live in Breda, Netherlands.What languages do you speak?Dutch and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I was 8 years old and instantly wanted to play more and more.
Are there other tennis players in your family?My father and mother, but they never played at a high level.
In which club do you train?Vitasports, TPV Heksenwiel and BLTV.
Who are your coaches?Maico Egbers, Thiemo de Bakker, Wouter Nooijen.
What is your weekly training routine?Every day of the week, I train in tennis on the court and I do physical preparation on the court or in the gym, and I devote a lot of time to recovery; on the weekend, I participate in tournaments.
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?My greatest quality is my discipline and hard work, and I want to improve my vision of the game and my shot selection.
What is your junior category and your national ranking?I play in 16-17 age categories and my national ranking is #121. I’m ranked number 2 in my province.
What has been your greatest achievement?I won the junior masters in my province and reached three times in a row the semifinals in a JRT tournament.
In which countries have you already played tournament?I have ony played on vacations with my dad but soon I will play in Belgium and many other countries will follow…
Do you have any sponsors?Not yet but hopefully soon…
What is your goal for 2026?To win a Ten-Pro Global Junior tournament.
What is your tennis dream?To win the Olympics.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite tennis player are Federer and Alcaraz.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?I like to cook, travel and play other sports with my friends.
