Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Thiago Guillaume. I am 10 years old and I was born on February 1, 2016. I have Swiss, French, and Peruvian nationality, and I live in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
What languages do you speak?
I speak French, English, and Spanish, and I am also learning German.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, tennis is an important sport in my family and they support me a lot in my development.
In which club do you train?
I train with Swiss Tennis and at several clubs: TPC Biel/Bienne, TC Neuchâtel, and in the Seeland region.
Who are your coaches?
I train with coaches from Swiss Tennis and my clubs, who help me improve my game and develop as a player.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train around 10 to 14 hours per week, including tennis practice, physical training, and matches.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strength is my fighting spirit and my consistency during matches. I still need to improve my serve and my physical strength.
What is your age category and your national ranking?
I am currently Swiss No.1 in the U10 category and French No.1 in the U10 category. I am also No.12 in Switzerland in the U12 category. My adult ranking is R4 in Switzerland and 15/4 in France.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
My biggest achievements so far are becoming Swiss No.1 in the U10 category, competing in many national tournaments, and being selected for the Swiss Tennis Supra-Regional U12 squad.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far I have played tournaments mainly in Switzerland and France, and I will soon start competing in Tennis Europe junior tournaments.
