Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Teodor Crainii. I was born on December 2, 2016, so I am 9 years old. I live in Chișinău, Moldova.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Romanian, but I am learning English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my older brother also plays tennis. He is the reason I started training.
In which club do you train?
I train at the School of Tennis from Chișinău.
Who are the members of your team?
My technical coach is Olga Cosîc and my physical trainer is Ivan Tcaci.
What is your weekly training routine?
I have 2 hours of tennis training every day and 3 physical training sessions every week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My biggest strengths are my forehand and my mental game. I need to work on my smashes.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I currently play in the U12 category and I am ranked No. 12 in my country. I am also No. 1 among boys born in 2016.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my biggest achievements is winning first place at a U12 tournament in Suceava and being selected to participate in the 31st Smrikva Bowl competition.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played in Moldova and Romania, and I will soon play in Croatia.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I do not have any sponsors yet, but I am open to new collaborations.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to win the 31st Smrikva Bowl.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become world No. 1 and not just a champion with trophies, but a player who inspires and is admired.

I would really love to meet Carlos Alcaraz because he plays with sparks in his eyes and does it in his own way.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Off the court, I enjoy playing video games, playing football, reading, and spending time with my family in the park.
