Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Sofia Frendo. I am 12 years old. My birthday is July 8, 2013. I’m Maltese.

What languages do you speak?

I speak English and Maltese.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing at six years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

There are no other tennis players in my family.

In which club do you train?

I train at the Asciak Tennis Academy.

Who are your coaches?

What is your weekly training routine?

I have 3 times national training and 4 times privates and physical everyday.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I was ranked #3 in U12 in Malta.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

I’ve won a Tennis Europe tournament — TE U12 G2 Nicosia Field Club in doubles.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I’ve played in Malta England Cyprus and Italy.

To become the best Tennis Europe ranked player for girls under 14.

What is your tennis dream?

To make it to grand slam.

My favorite player is Arina Sabalenka.
