Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi, my name is Sofia Chen, I’m 9 years old.
I’m Brazilian and I live in São Paulo.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 6.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my older brother Antônio, who is 12, also plays tennis.

What is your club?
I play at CTC (Clube Tênis Catanduva).

Who is your coach?
My dad, Alexandre.

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 7 hours: 1 hour per day (tennis) and 2 hours per week (physical training).

Do you have any sponsors?
No.

What racket do you play with?
I play with a Yonex VCORE.

What are your best results so far and your national ranking?
National Brazil (BR) champion U8 and U10 and state (SP) champion.
In Brazil, they don’t have a national ranking for kids, only state.

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I haven’t had the opportunity to leave the country, but I would love to.

What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to become a professional and to win a Grand Slam.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favorite players are Novak Djokovic and Emma Navarro.
