Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Sebastián Montero Schulz, I am 12 years old, I was born on June 16, 2013.
I am Chilean-German, and I live in Santiago, Chile.What languages do you speak?Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?At 7 years old, during the pandemic.
Are there other tennis players in your family?No.
In which club do you train?Prince of Wales Country Club, La Reina, Santiago, Chile.
Who are your coaches?Jaime Montero, José Miguel Ayala, and Fernando Rosales.
What is your weekly training routine?22 hours of tennis training plus physical conditioning.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My greatest strength is my volleying game, and what I would like to improve is my concentration.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I was number 1 in the 12-year-old category and finished number 3 in the category, because I stopped competing in this age group and moved up to the 14-year-old category, where I started competing this year.
What have been your greatest successes so far?Playing in the South American 12-year-old Championship for Chile and winning two national tennis championships last year, both in singles and the last one in doubles.
In which countries have you played tournaments?Uruguay, Peru, and Ecuador, in addition to my country, Chile.
Do you have any sponsors?Yes, Wilson helps me with my sports equipment.
What is your goal for 2026?To play a lot of COSAT tournaments over the next 14 years to gain experience and finish among the top 10 in my country within that time.
What is your tennis dream?I would like to be a top 10 ATP player and win Roland-Garros.
Who are your favorite tennis players?Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?I like music, especially rock, and I also like soccer.
