Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Santiago Prado, I am 13 years old. I was born on February 22, 2012, and I am from Lima, Peru.
What languages do you speak?I speak two languages, Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at age 9.
Are there other tennis players in your family?There aren’t any other tennis players right now, but my uncle, Tato Noriega, was ranked 130th in the world.
Which club do you train with?I train at Los Inkas.
Who are your coaches?My coaches are Román, Rodrigo Vargas, Arnol, Jhon Jhon, Willy, and Sergio.
What is your weekly training routine?My preseason training routine is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?I am disciplined, I put effort into training, I am a fighter, I eat well, and my disadvantage is that I sometimes get annoyed.
What is your tennis category and national ranking?My age category is 14 years old, and I am ranked 14th.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?My greatest successes have been winning a COSAT G3 tournament or reaching the semifinals of a national G1 tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?I have played in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia.
Do you have any sponsors?I don’t have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?I want to represent Peru.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to play the Davis Cup and win the US Open.
Who are your favorite tennis players?I admire Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Roger Federer, and Rafa Nadal.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?I like being with my friends and family.
