Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Samantha Alvarez, I am 17 years old, I was born on April 29, 2008.
I am Chilean, living in Santiago, Chile.What languages do you speak?I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at age 7.
Are there other tennis players in your family?My brother is starting tennis, and my mom played as a hobby.
In which club do you train?I train at Alto Tenis.
Who are your coaches?My coaches are Kevin Browne, Cristóbal Henriquez, and JP Sánchez.
What is your weekly training routine?I train every day: 3 hours of tennis and 2 hours of physical training from Monday to Friday. On weekends, I usually compete or train for 2 hours.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?I think my greatest quality is that I love what I do, so I fight until the last point, and I need to improve my mental game.
What is your age category and your national ranking?Right now, I’m ranked #498 in the ITF and #2 in my country nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?Winning an ITF tournament
