Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Salvador Arango Orozco, I’m 9 years old, I’m Colombian.
I live in Cali in Colombia.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started to play tennis at 7.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my father.

What is your club?
Liga Vallecaucana de Tenis

Who is your coach?
My personal coach is Valnery García and group coaches are Juan Carlos Marín and Paola Arévalo.

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 10 hours of tennis per week and 5 hours of physical training.

Do you have any sponsors?
No.

What racket do you play with?
I am playing with a Babolat Pure Aero.

What are your best results so far and your national ranking?
This year I started yellow ball in the U12 category.

My best results are:

• 2024 National Kids Tournament: Singles finalist and doubles finalist.
• 2024 Champions Kids National Tournament: Singles finalist and doubles champion.
• 2024 International Tournament: Doubles champion
• 2023 National Kids Tournament: B draw champion
• 2023 International Tournament: B draw champion

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
Colombia.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
Of course Carlos Alcaraz and woman? I don’t know maybe Camila Osorio.
