Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Roozbeh Aghababaee, and I was born on July 21, 2013, in North Vancouver, Canada.
I currently live in Iran and hold dual citizenship: Canadian and Iranian.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 9 years old and have been training seriously ever since.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
I’m the only professional tennis player in my family.
However, both my mom and dad play tennis recreationally and have always supported my passion for the sport.

What is your club?
Esteghlal Opt Tennis Club

Who is your coach?
Toni Androic

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
10 hours of tennis, 3 hours Yoga, 3 hours physical training

Do you have any sponsors?
No

What racket do you play with?
Babolat Pure Drive Team

What are your best results so far and your national ranking?
I currently play in the U12 category and hold 1st place in the Iranian national ranking.
I proudly represent Iran as a current member of the U12 National Tennis Team.
Internationally, I’ve achieved strong results, including:
• 3rd place in the ATF U14 tournament
• Champion of the West Asia Team Competition.
In addition to these, I’ve also won several national trophies in both the U12 and U14 categories.
These achievements have been key milestones in my tennis journey and continue to motivate me to improve and compete at higher levels.

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
Iran, Canada, Switzerland (Bozovic Tennis Academy), Italy (Piatti Tennis Center)

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become number one in the world in tennis.
I want to compete at the highest level, win Grand Slams, and inspire others the way my idols inspired me.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favorite male player is Roger Federer. I admire his elegance, sportsmanship, and the way he makes the game look effortless. My favorite female player is Serena Williams. Her power, determination, and mental strength on court are incredible. Both of them have set a standard I look up to.
