Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Robin Whitewood, I am 10 years old, I was born on May 15, 2015.
I am British-Czech, and I live in Redditch, United Kingdom.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak English and Czech.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
At 7 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
No.

In which club do you train tennis?
LTA Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre.

Who is your tennis coach?
John Black, Tim Jamieson and Tony Ravenscroft.

What is your weekly training routine?
I train on Tuesdays & alternate Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My fighting spirit for every. Single. Point. I always end up on the ground the most out of all players in a tournament. Put together. And they don’t teach you that. They wouldn’t teach you that. I need to improve my reaction to injustice

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I compet in U10 and I am ranked #36 in Great Britain.

What has been your greatest achievement?
I won 30 tournaments in Great Britain.
Ranked #5 in GB National tournament.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I trained in Prostejov, Czech.

Diadem & Framework Sports.

What is your goal for 2026?
To continue to train and compete with the best British players.

What is your tennis dream?
To coach and bring through talent from underprivileged juniors.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
Alcaraz, Rune and Draper.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Scored goals for 3 pro football academies, played cricket for Worcestershire & won Gold Medals in district athletics.

To Tony Ravenscroft, my Coach who has done so much for me and other junior tennis players without backing/funding.
