Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Rawad Salloum, I am almost 15 years old. I was born on December 17, 2010.
I am Palestinian and I live in Athens, Greece.What languages do you speak?
I speak Arabic, English, Hebrew.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started tennis at the age of 5 in Nazareth and now I train professionally in Athens.Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes I have 2 brothers that play tennis for 18 years and now they are coaches. My dad played when he was a kid and he is still playing.In which club do you train tennis?
I train in Tennis Factory.Who is your tennis coach?
When I trained in nazareth I had 3 coaches — Tareq Salloum my brother, Layal Ammoury my brother’s fiancé, and Fouad Khoury.
And sometimes Hisham Ammoury (the principal of the club) coached me with my old group.
Now in Greece, Vangelis Triantis is coaching me.What is your weekly training routine?
I train 5 days a week. I don’t train on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Each training session lasts 2.5 hours and includes fitness exercises.As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
I am working on my mentality, my serve and my backhand.What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
My ranking back home was #150 in U16.
My UTR is 7.5.What has been your greatest achievement?
I won my first international match last October.In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I played In Greece, Albania, Serbia.Do you have any sponsors?
I don’t have any sponsors — I wish after this interview I will get one…What is your goal for 2026?
My goal is to win my first international tournament and have a great season.What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to be the greatest of all time.Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are the big three — Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I like to go for a run or go on a ride on my bike Or play on the computer.To which people would you like to dedicate this interview?
