Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Poyraz Yüce, I’m 12 years old, I was born on June 20, 2013.
I’m Turkish and I live in Istanbul, Turkey.

What languages do you speak?

I speak English and Turkish.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started at age of 8.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

No, I am the only one who plays tennis.

In which club do you train?

I am playing tennis at Tenis Eskrim Dağcılık Spor Kulübü.

Who are your coaches?

My tennis coaches are Volkan Göncü and Arash Golchini and my conditioner coaches are İyas Ersin Ege and Gürkan Asar.

What is your weekly training routine?

My weekly training is everyday 3 hours of tennis and 1 hour of condition.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My greatest quality is my forheands and I need to improve my volleys.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

My national ranking was 6th in U12.

What has been your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement is finishing 6th in the national team.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

I only played in turkey.

Do you have any sponsors?

No I haven’t got any sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goals for 2026 are to succeed in Europe.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to be in the top 10 in the world.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favourite tennis players are Sinner and Nadal.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I like to swim and playing basketball.
