Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Paola Krilcheva, I am 11 years old, I was born on April 12, 2014.
I am Bulgarian, and I live in Sofia, Bulgaria.What languages do you speak?English and Bulgarian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started at 6 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?Yes, my brother Kristiyan also plays tennis.
In which club do you train?I train at Tennis Club Lokomotiv Sofia.
Who are your coaches?Martin Dimitrov (@martindimitrovv) is my tennis coach, and Kaloyan Chernev (@kaloyan_chernev) is my physio.
What is your weekly training routine?I train every day for two hours, play friendly matches or tournaments on weekends, and I have physio and fitness sessions three times a week.
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?My greatest quality is my fighting spirit – I never give up, even when I’m losing. I need to improve my patience during important points.
What is your junior category and your national ranking?U12, and I am currently 9th in the national ranking
What has been your greatest achievement?My best success is that I love what I do every single day.
In which countries have you already played tournament?Bulgaria and Spain.
Do you have any sponsors?Not yet, but I hope to find sponsors who believe in my dream.
What is your goal for 2026?To break into the top 3 in Bulgaria U12 and play more tournaments at international level.
What is your tennis dream?To turn professional and compete at the highest level.
Who are your favorite tennis players?Novak Djokovic – because of his mental strength and determination.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?I like painting and art, and I also love travelling.
To which people would you like to dedicate this interview?To my family, to my biggest fans and supporters who are always there for me, whether I win or lose.
