Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Nicole Shestakova. I was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan on December 5, 2013, and I live in Almaty.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Russian and a little English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
My mom introduced me to tennis when I was 2 years and 9 months old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
There are no other tennis players in my family.

In which club do you train tennis?
I currently train at the CSKA Tennis Club in Almaty.

Who is your tennis coach?
My coaches are:
• Alexey Alexandrovich Filatov (head coach)
• Egor Stepanovich Semikin
• Ruslan Vladimirovich Tyutyunnikov
• Yuri Konstantinovich Karlov
• Tatyana Leonidovna Khadzhimuradova

What is your weekly training routine?
My training starts at 8 a.m. and lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, including warm-up.
After the main session, I usually have fitness training almost every day, personal sessions twice a week, and sometimes two main practices a day.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My greatest qualities as an athlete are discipline and endurance.
As for what I need to improve — that’s confidential information and I’d prefer to keep private.

What has been your greatest achievement?
I’ve had some achievements, but I don’t consider them big yet.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I have competed in tournaments in the UAE, Qatar, Georgia, Tajikistan, and Serbia.

Do you have any sponsors?
My main sponsors are my parents, and I was also part of the NSK team, which was sponsored by the NSK insurance company.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to train even better and achieve great results.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play in the biggest tournaments, like Wimbledon and Roland-Garros, and one day win them.
I want people to know me as a strong and kind athlete who loves tennis with all her heart.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are Elena Rybakina, Alexander Bublik, and Carlos Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy spending time with my friends, since I don’t get to see them very often.
