Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi, my name is Nicole Andrea Bejarano Paton. I am 16 years old and I was born on June 7, 2009, in Madrid, Spain. I also have Colombian roots through my father. I am a junior tennis player based in Mostoles.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old. I first picked up a racket at that age and immediately loved the sport. I began competing when I was 9.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I am currently the only tennis player in my family.
In which club do you train?
I started playing at a club called Vantage, and I currently train at a club in Mostoles.
Who is your coach?
The Mostoles team trains there, and my private coach is Joel Alicen.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train around 10 hours of tennis and 3 hours of physical training per week, and I usually compete on weekends.
Do you have any sponsors?
Yes, I have a sponsor called Talay Automocion, part of Vox Service, which specializes in vehicle preparation workshops.
What racket do you play with?
I play with the 2023 Wilson Shift racket.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I have been getting very good results, and one of my most special recent achievements is the title I won just a few hours ago.
What is your goal in tennis?
My goal is to play at my highest level, and my biggest dream is to become a professional tennis player.
Do you follow professional tennis?
Yes, I often watch professional tennis on TV, and I have also seen it up close because I worked as a ball kid at the Mutua Madrid Open.
Who are your favorite players?
My favorite players have always been Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams. Right now, I also really admire Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner.
