Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Nael Steinier, I am 15 years old, I was born on October 1, 2010.
I live in Namur, Belgium.

What languages do you speak?

I speak French and a little bit of English

At what age did you start playing tennis?

⁠I started playing tennis at 3 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my dad is a coach and has also been playing tennis for 25 years.

In which club do you train?

⁠I train at the Tennis Club Temploux.

Who are your coaches?

My tennis coach is Benjamin Collin and my dad (Fabian Steinier). My physical trainer is Éric Delchambre.

What is your weekly training routine?

I play tennis every day : about 9 hours a week and 2.5 hours of physical training.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strength is my dexterity and my backhand. I should improve my footwork.

What is your age category and your national ranking?

I compete in Tennis Europe in the U16 category. My current ranking is 625, and my best is 595. I’m also starting to play in the ITF tournaments. In Belgium, I play in the Men’s 1 and 2 divisions. I am ranked B-15.

What have been your greatest successes so far?

1/2 at the U16 Grade 2 TE Argayon ;
1/4 at the U16 Grade 3 TE Waterloo;
12 titles in Men’s 2

In which countries have you played tournaments?

Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, France, and Luxembourg

Do you have any sponsors?

Yes, Wilson, and the Hope and Spirit Foundation.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to win a Tennis Europe title and reaching B-15.2 ranking in Belgium

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to make a living from my passion and playing on big courts packed with fans.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Rafael Nadal because I’m left-handed like him.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

I love spending time with my family and friends.
