Hello, introduce yourself please.

Hello! My name is Mohammed Abuzed Saber, I’m 21 years old, I was born on November 13, 2004 in Erbil, Iraq.

What languages do you speak?

I speak 3 languages Kurdish, Arabic, and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

My brother and my sisters.

In which club do you train?

Now I am playing in tennis college in USA.

Who are your coaches?

My coaches were Nasser and Alan, and my dad with my brother.

What is your weekly training routine?

6 days in a week — tennis, gym and fitness.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

As an athlete, if I prioritize quality, I probably choose my backhand.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

When I was 18 in Iraq, I was number 1 in the under-18 category and at the national level, I played 1st, 2nd and 3rd, but as I said, I am in the United States for the tennis college — they just invited me for the Davis Cup this year and next year.

What has been your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement is multifaceted:

  • I finished in the top 3 of college All-American tennis player of the season.
  • I finished second in the national championship, both individually and with my team.
  • I participated in the Arab Masters tournament, which brought together the best players from Arab countries.
In which countries have you already played tournament?

I played in a lot of countries more than 15.

Do you have any sponsors?

I don’t have sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to get ATP point.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream in tennis is to break into the ATP top 200.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

Coaching.

My dad.
