Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Milena Garcia Beltrán, I am 12 years old, I was born on Dec 19, 2013.
I am Mexican, and I live in Monterrey NL, Mexico.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at 10 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
In my family my dad and sister play tennis.
In which club do you train?
I train at Club Sierra Madre.
Who are your coaches?
My coach is Eric Crowson.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train 10 hours of tennis per week and 5 hours of physical preparation.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest quality is my perseverance in achieving my goals, my attentive listening to my coach when I correct myself, the fact that I accept my failures and that I improve every day. I still need to improve my footwork and try to increase the pressure I exert on the field, as well as my mindset.
What is your age category and your national ranking?
My category is U14 and my national ranking is #399.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I won a beginners’ tournament and reached the finals of others. I’m still working to improve.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I played only in Mexico.
Do you have any sponsors?
I have no sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to participate in more national tournaments and to be able to travel to other cities.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to participate in the Tennis Europe Junior Tour and get a scholarship in the future.
Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis players are Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka.
What do you enjoy outside of tennis?
Besides tennis I like to watch movies and spend time with my pets (Kenzo y Nova).

I dedicate this interview to my parents who always support me in difficult times and to my coach for encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and for his advice.
