Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Milana Podlesnaya, I am 13 years old, I was born on 2012.
I am Uzbek and I live in Astana, Kazakhstan.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Russian fluently, and I know a little English and Kazakh.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of 5.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, I have a younger sister.

In which club do you train?

I currently train at the NTC (National Tennis Center).

Who are your coaches?

My coaches are Vladislav Sergeevich Manafov, Artur Rustamovich Khairuddinov, and Ruslan Vyacheslavovich Miroshnichenko.

What is your weekly training routine?

Per day I have 1 hour of tennis, 2 hours of tennis, and 1 hour with a psychologist.And sometimes 2 hours of tennis in the evening.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

My greatest strength is that I don’t get nervous before matches, and what I need to improve is my mental consistency.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

Currently, I play in the U14 category and I am ranked 20th, although not long ago I was ranked 10th.

What has been your greatest achievement?

I’m not exactly sure what my best achievement is, but recently I finished 2nd in doubles at a tournament in Turkey.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

Before that, I have played in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

Do you have any sponsors?

At the moment, I don’t have any sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

For 2026, my goals are to improve my game, reach the Gold level in the Target Program, and be ranked in the top 4.

What is your tennis dream?

My tennis dream is to win all four Grand Slams and to play a match against Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Among men, my favorites are Jannik Sinner and Alexander Bublik, and among women, Elena Rybakina and Emma Raducanu.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I love drawing, spending time outdoors, and talking with my friends and family.

To which people would you like to dedicate this interview?

Either to my parents or to no one.
