Hello, introduce yourself please.

Hello. I am Melina Mohammadbeigi, I am 12 years old and was born on February 16, 2013 in Iran and currently live in Qazvin province.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Persian.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was 10 years old and I play tennis professionally.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

I am the only professional tennis player in my family. But my parents and brother play recreationally and always support me.

Which club do you train with?

I play on a private tennis court in Qazvin province.

Who are your coaches?

My coach is my father, Abbas Mohammadbeigi.

What is your weekly training routine?

I play tennis 6 hours a week and do bodybuilding 4 hours a week.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

My greatest attribute on the tennis court is having a fighting spirit and playing diversely on the court, and I try until the last minute.
I should pay more attention to bodybuilding and tennis and make myself a strong person.

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

I currently play in the under-14 category. My rank in Iran is third in the under-12 category and fourth in the under-14 category.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

I have won more than 10 national tournaments and I participated in the national under-12 team selection camp.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I have only played in national tournaments in Iran.

Do you have any sponsors?

No. I do not have a sponsor. But I would be happy to have a sponsor then I can participate in international competitions.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal in 2026 is to participate in the ATF tournament and win multiple championships in these tournaments.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to train professionally in tennis at Rafael Nadal’s school and also play in major tennis tournaments in the world and attend all the Grand Slams.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite male player is Rafael Nadal because of the fighting spirit he brings to his games, and my favorite female player is Sabalenka because of her aggressive play in tournaments.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

I like to continue my studies and paint and play volleyball for fun.
