Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Medeea Andreea Marineață, I was born on July 23, 2009, and I am Romanian. I live in Bucharest, Romania.
What languages do you speak?I speak Romanian and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis when I was 10 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?No, there are no other tennis players in my family.
In which club do you train?I train at Mazicon, in Bucharest.
Who are your coaches?My coach is Cristian Anghelescu.
What is your weekly training routine?I train 6 days a week — 24 hours of tennis and 6 hours of physical conditioning.
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?My greatest quality is my reaction speed.
What I want to improve the most is my endurance.What is your junior category and your national ranking?I play at U18, and my national ranking is 50.
What has been your greatest achievement?My best results are:
• Winner of U16 tournaments
• Finalist at U18
• First ITF U18 J60 wins at 15 years oldIn which countries have you already played tournament?I have played tournaments in Turkey and Bulgaria.
Do you have any sponsors?Not yet — no sponsors at the moment.
What is your goal for 2026?My goals are to enter Top 20 U18 in Romania and Top 1000 ITF Juniors.
What is your tennis dream?My dream is to become a professional tennis player and compete in the biggest tournaments in the world.
Who are your favorite tennis players?My favorite players are Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz.
What do you like to do outside of tennis?Outside of tennis, I like to sing.
