Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Maya Nanda, I’m 14 years old, and I was born on 2011.
I live in Orange, California, USA.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak English and Spanish.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes my dad played tennis in college.

In which club do you train tennis?
I’m currently not training at a specific club, but I stay consistent with my training schedule.

Who is your tennis coach?
My coach is Dan Dao.

What is your weekly training routine?
I practice every day and prepare throughout the week for tournaments every weekend.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My greatest quality is that I’m extremely competitive and fight for every point.
I’m working on improving my consistency and overall match endurance.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I’m in the Class of 2029, and I’m currently ranked #74 in California.
I also play in U14 .

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I’ve competed in the United States.

Do you have any sponsors?

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to raise my UTR and continue becoming a stronger all-around athlete.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to inspire other players to play at any level.

I really admire Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I enjoy hanging out with my friends.
