My name is Maya Alexandra Bodescu, I am 11 years old, I was born on May 9, 2014.
I am Romanian, and I live in Iași, Romania.

What languages do you speak?

Romanian and English.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

At 7 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, my dad and my sister.

In which club do you train?

In Teo Tenis Club.

Who are your coaches?

Laura Adomnicai.

What is your weekly training routine?

• Tuesday: Physical training (2 hours) then tennis (2 hours)
• Wednesday: Tennis (2 hours)
• Thursday: Physical training (2 hours) then tennis (2 hours)
• Friday: Tennis (2 hours)

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

U12 girls and I am ranked #35.

What has been your greatest achievement?

1st place in several competitions.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

Just in Romania.

Do you have any sponsors?

I don t have.

What is your goal for 2026?

To reach the top 10 in the rankings.

What is your tennis dream?

To be a professional tennis player.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

Carlos Alcaraz and Maria Sharapova.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

I like to play in the playground.
