Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Maximo Gomez, I’m 16 years old, I was born on 2009.
I’m American and live in Miami, USA.

What languages do you speak?

I speak English and Spanish.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at 5.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

My father was almost a professional tennis player.

Which club do you train with?

I train at David Ensignia Tennis Academy.

Who are your coaches?

My coach is Jose Laderas.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train every day for 2 hours and physical training 3 times a week for 1.5 hours.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

As an athlete I have great endurance and stamina but I believe my mental game can always be improved.

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

I play 16U and my national ranking is around #850.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

My greatest achievement was reaching the final of a level 4 in Indiana.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

I have played tournaments all over the USA.

Do you have any sponsors?

I do not have any sponsors.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to reach an 11 UTR and to finish inside the countries top 50.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to win a Grand Slam.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

My favorite player is Novak Djokovic.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis I enjoy playing soccer and mountain biking.
