Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi! I’m Maxim Sokol, I’m 12 years old I was born on the 22nd of November 2012.
I am from Great Britain and I live in Bath, UK.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the age of 2 years old.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
My mum an dad both play tennis at a good level and my mum was a top junior

What is your club?
My club is the University of Bath Tennis Club.

Who is your coach?
⁠My coach is Chris Starkey.

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
⁠I train for 12 hours a week in tennis and for physical I do 3-4 hours.

Do you have any sponsors?
⁠I am sponsored by Yonex and I am also supported by TennisFirst.

What racket do you play with?
⁠I play with the new Yonex ezone 100L.

What are your best results so far and your national ranking?
⁠I am in my first year of under 14 age category.
I am top five in my year in national ranking and my best result is winning both singles and doubles at a Tennis Europe event in Montenegro.

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
⁠I have been to many countries across Europe, including France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Estonia, Lithuania and many more.

What is your tennis dream?
⁠My dream is to get to world number one and be proud of myself and my journey.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favourite male tennis player is Novak Djokovic and my favourite female tennis player is Miira Andreeva
