Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Mariia Korsun. I am 11 years old and I was born on June 18. I am from Ukraine and I live in Kyiv.
What languages do you speak?
I speak three languages: English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, my family members are not tennis players, but they are very active in sports. My dad used to play basketball.
In which club do you train?
I train at a tennis club called MTA (ITA in English).
Who are your coaches?
I have a tennis coach and a physical conditioning coach.
What is your weekly training routine?
I usually train twice a day with tennis practice and physical training sessions.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
I think my greatest strength is my forehand, and I need to improve my serve.
What is your age category and your national ranking?
I compete in the U12 category and I am currently ranked No.2 nationally.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
One of my best results so far has been reaching the final of a Tennis Europe Category 2 tournament.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played tournaments in Ukraine and Poland.

What is your goal for 2026?

I would love to meet Jannik Sinner because I really enjoy watching his game.

Outside of tennis, I enjoy painting, reading books, and listening to music.
