My name is Mariana Pinzon Sampedro, I’m 15 years old and I live in Bogota in Colombia.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old.Are there other tennis players in your family?
My whole family knows how to play tennis, but the only one who competed as a hobby was my dad.What is your club?
I train at Castiblanco Tennis Academy.Who is your coach?
My coach is Karen Castiblanco, a former professional tennis player.How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train every day, 3 hours in total, 2 hours of tennis and one hour of physical training.Do you have any sponsors?
I am sponsored by Wilson Mexico, as well as the Colombian Tennis Federation and the Bogota Tennis League.What racket do you play with?
I play with a Wilson Ultra.What is your junior category, what is your national ranking, what are your best results?
My ITF ranking is 888 and my national ranking is 12.
My best results have been runner-up in a J30 and third round in a J100.In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I have traveled throughout South America except Uruguay, as well as the United States.What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to be ranked 100 in the world and play at Wimbledon or Roland Garros.Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My current favorite female player is Sabalenka because of her attitude and power on the court, and my current favorite male player is Alcaraz. I love his style of play and how well he competes, but my idols will always be Serena Williams and Roger Federer.Thanks a lot Mariana!
