Hello, introduce yourself please.

My name is Lina Youssef, I am 15 years old. I am a Tunisian tennis player currently living in Tunisia, and I am proudly representing Tunisia in national and international competitions.

What languages do you speak?

I speak Arabic, French, and English fluently.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of 3, and from the very first day, I knew this sport was meant for me.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Yes, tennis has always been part of our family lifestyle, and it has inspired my passion for the sport.

In which club do you train?

I train at Tennis Club Monastir, where I benefit from a highly competitive and supportive training environment.

Who are your coaches?

I am coached by Elyes Rhim as my tennis coach and Ameur Triki as my fitness coach, who have played a key role in developing my technique, mentality, and overall performance on court.

What is your weekly training routine?

I train several 5 times per week, combining tennis practice, match play sessions, physical conditioning, and mental preparation. My program is designed to help me progress step by step and perform at my highest level in competition.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?

One of my strongest qualities is my determination and fighting spirit—I never give up, no matter the score.
What I need to improve is my serve consistency ,my net game, my mental focus during key points.As I believe growth is a continuous process.

What is your junior category and your national ranking?

I currently compete in the U18 category and my best international ITF ranking is 2900.

What has been your greatest achievement?

One of my greatest achievements has been a semi-final in a J60 tournament in Tunisia, which gave me confidence and motivation to perform even higher.

In which countries have you already played tournament?

I have represented Tunisia in tournaments held in Turkey, gaining valuable international experience.

Do you have any sponsors?

Not yet, but I am open to future partnerships with brands that share my values and ambition.

What is your goal for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to elevate my international ranking, compete consistently in ITF tournaments, and establish myself as a promising junior player on the global stage.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to win all four Grand Slams and become one of the most inspiring tennis players in the world — not only through results, but through the values, energy, and passion I bring to the court.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

I admire Roger Federe and Serena Williams for their playing style, mentality, and the impact they have made in world tennis.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?

Outside of tennis, I enjoy reading,cooking and hanging out with family and friends as they help me stay balanced, creative, and mentally refreshed.
