Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hi! My name is Lily Berg. I am 12 years old and I was born on March 10, 2014. I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am a junior tennis player competing in the U12 and U14 categories.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Swedish and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 3 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my mum, dad, and little brother all play tennis.
In which club do you train?
I train at Lidingo Tennis Club.
Who are your coaches?
I work with all the coaches at Lidingo Tennis Club, including Eric Moonga, together with my father and also my mental coach, Joakim Froberg.
What is your weekly training routine?
I play tennis for an average of 1.5 to 2 hours per day on weekdays. I also do 30 to 60 minutes of physical training 2 to 3 times per week, and I play as many tournaments and matches as possible.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what are you working on?
My greatest strength is my backhand, and I am currently working on my slice.
What is your age category?
I compete in both U12 and U14 tournaments.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
Some of my best results so far include winning my last 4 U12A tournaments, with A being the equivalent of Super Category events in Sweden. I have also been highly competitive in U14A tournaments, where my latest results include a semifinal and a quarterfinal.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
So far, I have only played tournaments in Sweden, but I hope to play a tournament in Norway soon.

No, I do not have any sponsors yet.
What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to be selected for Team Stockholm.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to become one of the best players in the world and win a Grand Slam.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would like to meet Aryna Sabalenka because she is a top tennis player and has won many titles.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I enjoy painting, dancing, and playing the piano.
