Hello, introduce yourself please.
Hello, good morning. My name is Lautaro Barilari Arias. I am 18 years old. I was born on June 2, 2007, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.What languages do you speak?
I only speak Spanish.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at the San Lorenzo de Almagro Athletic Club when I was 6 years old.Are there other tennis players in your family?
My father, who passed away a few months ago, played tennis in my family. He was the one who got me passionate about the sport and helped me always keep going.In which club do you train tennis?
Currently, I train at Huracan de San Justo and Break Point Tennis.Who is your tennis coach?
I have many coaches, but the ones who help me the most are Pablo Unrein and Fernando Ponce.What is your weekly training routine?
My weekly routine is to go to school in the morning from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and then I go home to eat and then go out to train at Huracan de San Justo. From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., I’m allowed to train every day. From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., I’m at break point or teaching classes to cover my expenses, or as much as possible at tournaments or training.What is your best shot and things you need to improve?
My best shot is the backhand, and I need to improve my acceleration in key moments.What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
My age group is under 18, and I’m currently ranked 80th in the Argentine national rankings.
I play interclub games and compet on a team for Club Atletico San Lorenzo de Almagro and Tenis Avellaneda.What are your best tennis results?
My best results this year were good and bad tournaments, a lot of learning, reaching the finals of the singles Open at Cooperarios in Quilmes and at Gioco Tennis Club in La Reja. Then I won five doubles Opens this year, which is what I like to play the most.In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I didn’t leave Argentina to compete. I have plans for next year.What is the first country you dream of playing in?
I would like to play in France. It’s a very beautiful country, not only for tennis, but also a very beautiful place to travel.Do you have any sponsors?

My tennis dream is to play in the main draws of the Grand Slams.Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite tennis player has always been Fede Coria. I love his determination every day, with what he has, and fighting for it. He reached a great moment, and for me, he was an example. Although I love watching the best in the world, I have a special admiration for him.What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Besides tennis, I like being at home with my family, hanging out with friends, watching videos, and relaxing.Thanks a lot Lautaro!
