Hello, introduce yourself please.
I’m Lara Alaina Colin, 10 years old. I live in a state called Pahang, on the East Coast of Malaysia. 

What languages ​​do you speak?
I mainly speak English, Malay and I’m learning Mandarin. 

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing at the age of 7.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
Yes, my brother Declan Raphael Colin is our U12 Malaysian national player. 

In which club do you train tennis?
None

Who is your tennis coach?
I train with personal coaches — Coach Khairul, Coach Vasu Thevan and Coach Selvamuthu (fitness).

What is your weekly training routine?
I train everyday. This includes fitness and drills, and match play. 

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My best shot is my spin forehand cross court and I believe I need to improve and grow all other aspects of my game. 

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I am currently ranked #9 (in Malaysia) in the girls U12 category. 

What has been your greatest achievement?
In my last tournament, I won the Gold in the Interstate Mixed Doubles (MSSM). 
I also am the Singles Champion in the Interdistrict Games U12, ranked #1 in Pahang.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
Malaysia, Thailand & Singapore

What is the first country you dream of playing in?
China

What is your tennis dream?
To represent Malaysia at international stage and enjoy playing tennis. 

Who are your favorite tennis players?
Coco Gauff and Jannik Sinner

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I love to fish in my free time, spend time at the beach with my family.
