Hello, introduce yourself please.My name is Lagara Edmond, I am 14 yeard old, I was born on August 21, 2011. I live in Kampala, Uganda.
What languages do you speak?I speak English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?I started playing tennis at 9 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?There are no other tennis players in my family.
In which club do you train?I train in Serving Up Hope.
Who are your coaches?Serving Up Hope coach team.
What is your weekly training routine?I train from Monday to Friday, my weekly routine being to run every morning and every evening.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?My biggest strength is my forehand and what I can improve is my backhand, my drop shot, my serve and my smash.
What is your age category and your national ranking?I currently play in U16 and last year my CAT ranking was No. 115 in U14.
What have been your greatest successes so far?My greatest achievement to date is my victory at the Kenya Junior Open.
In which countries have you played tournaments?Egypt, Kenya (3 times), and South Africa.
Do you have any sponsors?My sponsor is Vania King, a doubles player who has won Grand Slam tournaments.
What is your goal for 2026?My goal is to improve my game strategy for 2026.
