Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Jerónimo Macías, I’m 9 years old, born on the 26th of September 2015.
I’m Colombian and live in Pereira.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 4.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
I’m the first in my family to play tennis.

What is your club?
I currently train at the Club del Comercio Pereira.

Who is your coach?
My club has several coaches, including Martín Arenas, Darwin Sánchez, Fernando Durán, and others.
I sometimes take personalized lessons with Catalina Castaño, a former Colombian professional tennis player who reached number 35 in the WTA rankings.

How many hours a week do you train tennis and do physical training?
I train 18 hours a week, 5 of which are dedicated to physical training.

Do you have any sponsors?
No sponsors so far but wishing to find some.

What racket do you play with?
I use a Yonex Vcore racquet.

What are your best results so far and your national ranking?
I’m in the 12-year-old male category, even though I’m 9 years old.
My current ranking is 90th in my country, and my best result has been winning a G4.

In which countries have you ever been to play tennis?
I’ve played in different cities in Colombia but not outside of the country yet.

What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to be in the top 5 in the world.

Who are your favorite male and female tennis players?
My favorite male player is Carlos Alcaraz and female player is Iga Swiatek.
