Hello, introduce yourself please.

I am Jad Alamir Cherrad, I am 11 year old, tennis player from Casablanca, born on February 14, 2014.

What languages do you speak?

Fluent in arabic, french and English, I balance language skills with an intense focus on the sport.

At what age did you start playing tennis?

Proudly representing Morocco, I have been passionate about tennis since the age of 5.

Are there other tennis players in your family?

Tennis runs in my family, with my father and sister inspiring me along the way.

Which club do you train with?

Currently, I train at RTCMO (Royal Tennis Club Mohammedia) / Benmekhlouf Academy.

Who are your coaches?

Akid Mjid is my tennis coach and Akramou Hassan my physical coach.

What is your weekly training routine?

My weekly routine combines tennis practice, fitness, and conditioning sessions, Every day, I train for about three hours, including one hour of physical conditioning and two hours on the court. During the tennis sessions, I split my time between playing matches and doing drills, like baskets and targeted shots, to improve both my game and precision.

What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?

I am known for my forehand and serve.

What is your tennis category and national ranking?

Competing in U12.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?

I hold a national ranking of 3rd, and has achieved notable successes including Maroccan Doubles Champion of the National 2025, participation to the CAT and Champion of the FRMT Championship.

In which countries have you played tournaments?

My tennis journey has taken me across Spain and Portugal, gaining valuable experience and exposure.

What is your goal for 2026?

I have set ambitious goals for 2026, aiming to win a lot of trophies and gain muscles, with the ultimate dream of wining the Single National 2026 and the Double too of course, to be double champion in fact.

What is your tennis dream?

My dream is to play at Roland-garros.

Who are your favorite tennis players?

I am inspired by my favorite players like Carlos Alcaraz and Reda Bennani — the Maroccan Champion.

What do you enjoy outside of tennis?

When I don’t train, I enjoy playing football.
