Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Jack Thornhill, I am 15 years old and I was born on April 20, 2010.
I am South African and I live in Ballito, South Africa.

What languages ​​do you speak?
English

At what age did you start playing tennis?
Started playing since I could walk.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
My whole family plays tennis — my parents and my brother.

In which club do you train tennis?
Uhmlali Country Club

Who is your tennis coach?
Hennie Nel and Waylon Ferrandi

What is your weekly training routine?
16 ours of tennis and 5 hours of gym

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My greatest quality is that I am hard working, and I need to work on is my relationship with Jesus.

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I play in the Under 16 age group and I am currently #8 in the country.

What has been your greatest achievement?
My best success is winning 2 growth points back to back.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I have played in Botswana.

What is your goal for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to become top 3 in the country and to win a J60 ITF.

My tennis dream is to play on the pro circuit and to perform at a high level.

My favourite tennis players are Rodger Federer and Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I like to fly fish and play golf with my brother.
