Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Ivanna Cecilia García Núñez. I was born on March 28, 2011.
I’m from Mexico, and I live in The State of Mexico in Mexico.

What languages ​​do you speak?
I speak Spanish, English and French.

At what age did you start playing tennis?
I start playing tennis at 11.

Are there other tennis players in your family?
My parents started playing tennis after me, and my brother too.

In which club do you train tennis?
I train at MAT Tennis Academy.

Who is your tennis coach?
My coach is Damian García.

What is your weekly training routine?
My routine consists of working out for 4-6 hours and doing 1 hour of gym time.

As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
My best shots are my volley and my serve and I still need to improve my backhand 😂

What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
My national ranking is #178 in the Under-14 category.

In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I just play in Mexico, I hope next year I will start to participate in another countries.
The first country I want to play is in Japan.

Do you have any sponsors?
I don’t have sponsors yet.

What is your tennis dream?
My tennis dream is to get a scholarship to a university in the United States.

Who are your favorite tennis players?
My favorite female player is Emma raducanu and my favorite male player is Alcaraz.

What do you like to do outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I do taekwondo, I ride a yellow ribbon, I also like to assemble Legos, surf in the sea and spend time with my family and friends.
