Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Isabelle Kouventidou. I am 14 years old. I was born on January 19, 2012. I have double nationality: Greek and French. I live in Thessaloniki, in the north of Greece.
What languages do you speak?
I speak Greek, French, and English.
At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old.
Are there other tennis players in your family?
My mom is a leisure player.
In which club do you train?
I train at Sipitanos Tennis Academy.
Who is your coach?
My head coach is Vasilis Sipitanos.
What is your weekly training routine?
I train 10 hours of tennis per week and 4 hours of fitness per week.
What is your greatest strength as a player, and what do you need to improve?
My greatest strength is my backhand, and I need to improve my movement and my serve.
What is your age category and your ranking?
I play in the U14 category and I am No. 85 in my category.
What have been your greatest successes so far?
I haven’t achieved anything major yet, but I believe that if I work hard every day, I will achieve something big.
In which countries have you played tournaments?
I have played in Greece and France.
Do you have any sponsors?
No, I don’t have any sponsors.
What is your goal for 2026?
My main goal is to stay healthy to be able to play, and another goal is to reach the top 40 in Greece.
What is your tennis dream?
My dream is to play college tennis in the USA.
Which player would you most like to meet and why?
I would really like to meet Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz because they are strong and they are my favorite players.
What do you enjoy doing outside of tennis?
Outside of tennis, I like traveling around the world.
