Hello, introduce yourself please.
My name is Isabel Arabarco, I’m 15 years old (I was born on September 21, 2010).
I’m Argentinian, born in Neuquén, and I live half the year in Europe and the other half in Argentina.
When I’m in Argentina, I mainly train in Buenos Aires, although my hometown is Neuquén.What languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English.At what age did you start playing tennis?
I started playing tennis at age 4.Are there other tennis players in your family?
No, I’m the first tennis player in my family.In which club do you train tennis?
When I’m in Argentina, I train at the Academia Leo Bordon.
When I’m in Europe, I train at the Club Sports Tennis Cunit.Who is your tennis coach?
In Argentina, my coach is Leonardo Bordon.
In Spain, I don’t yet have a permanent coach, as I alternate between them depending on availability and scheduling.What is your weekly training routine?
I train every day except Sunday, combining tennis and physical conditioning.
In the morning, I play two hours of tennis and also do a physical conditioning session.
In the afternoon, I train for an hour and a half of tennis, and sometimes I add a second physical conditioning session.As for physical conditioning, my week is organized like this:
- 1 more aerobic day, dedicated to running and endurance work
- 3 days of strength training
- 2 days of power and cardio
As an athlete, what is your greatest quality and what do you need to improve?
I think my greatest strength is my forehand, which is one of my most solid and aggressive shots.
What I feel I most need to improve is my mental game, especially in the crucial moments of matches.What is your junior tennis category and your national tennis ranking?
I am currently a first-year Under-16 player.
In Spain, I am ranked number 5 nationally in the 2010 category.
In Argentina, I don’t have a national ranking because I don’t play in national tournaments there.What has been your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement so far was winning my first WTA point in my hometown, a very special accomplishment because of everything it represents and because I achieved it in front of my home crowd.In which countries have you already participated in tennis tournaments?
I have competed in a wide variety of countries in Europe, South America, and Africa. These include: Spain, Argentina, Cyprus, Macedonia, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Portugal, France, Austria, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Uruguay, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.Do you have any sponsors?

My goal for 2026 is to finish the year within the Top 150 of the ITF Junior ranking and achieve a stable WTA ranking, consolidating my position on the professional circuit.What is your tennis dream?

My favorite tennis player is Marta Kostyuk.What do you like to do outside of tennis?
